It's regarding organization and it provides a simple solution in case you have too many seed types that you need to store.
You can use a CD wallet to keep them organized. You can also sort them by category (ex: Flowers at the beginning and vegetables at the end of the wallet). You can even store them chronologically starting with the first seeds that you should plant in your garden and moving forward through the spring and summer months.

And since we are sharing tips, it can also be a good idea to store the whole CD wallet in a cold dry place, like a metal box down in a basement, or a cool place in the shed. This will ensure that your seeds have a longer life and are ready to pop-up as soon as you plant them.
